The next cohort of the Mid-Career Clinical Leadership Development Program will begin January 2026 and run through December.

Eligibility

This program is designed for mid-career (Associate Professor) Clinical Faculty currently in, or moving into, formal leadership roles.

Applicants for 2026 should be able to commit to classes that will meet on the second Fridays of each month from noon - 3 p.m. All classes are currently scheduled to be in-person.

Applicants from schools other than the School of Medicine are also encouraged to apply, and will be charged a tuition of $1500.

In addition to MCCLDP, the School of Medicine also supports the Paths to Leadership program, which is designed for all faculty who want to make a difference at OHSU. Cohorts for both programs begin in January, and the same application form can be used to apply to either/both program.

To apply for MCCLDP

Use the application link below to submit the following information by September 30, 2025:

  1. Current CV (as attachment).
  2. Highlights from 3 current leadership, managerial, administrative, educational or scholarly responsibilities/activities.
  3. An outline of your career goals in the next 3-5 years, and how you believe this program will help you attain those goals.
  4. Ideas for a project that you would like support in completing, which will address an organizational goal or need.
  5. Letter of support from the candidate’s direct supervisor (as attachment).

Timeline

Applications open: May 30

Application deadline: September 30

Decision notification: Prior to deadline, applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Applicants should expect to hear back within one month of submitting an application.
