Laura Mood, PhD, MSN, RN, CNOR (she/her)
- Clinical Assistant Professor, School of Nursing
Biography
I have a strong interest in professional nursing, particularly as it intersects with social justice. I am passionate about ensuring equitable access to healthcare, advocating for underserved and disenfranchised populations, and addressing systemic inequalities in both healthcare and health professions' education. My scholarship has two primary foci, that is to: (1) promote diversity, equity and inclusion in the health professions' workforce and (2) reduce health inequities via critical questioning and innovation in research methods, teaching-learning, and nursing practice.
