Biography

My research, community involvement and clinical practice revolve around health equity. I was project director of Advancing Health Equity through Student Empowerment & Professional Success (HealthE STEPS), funded by Health Resources & Services Administration Nursing Workforce Diversity grant from 2017-2021. I am currently program manager of the Oregon Nursing Education Academy, funded by Health Resources & Services Administration and Oregon Higher Education Coordinating Commission grants through 2026 to increase and retain the nurse educator workforce and improve health equity.
