Biography

Behjat Sedighi is the Program Manager of the Oregon Psychiatric Access Line (OPAL) at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU), a position she has held since 2015. She brings over 20 years of experience in mental health, specializing in work with children, adolescents, and families from diverse cultural backgrounds.

In her role, Ms. Sedighi oversees program operations and fosters collaboration across healthcare and mental health systems. She is adept at supporting primary care providers in navigating and accessing psychiatric resources—guided by her motto, “making the system work.”

She holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from George Fox University, with a focus on family, child, and adolescent mental health. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, outdoor photography, reading, fitness, and spending time with loved ones.
